Pertemuan dengan Taipei Economic and Trade Office

Surabaya, [17/9/2024] – Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UMSurabaya) hosted a significant meeting with representatives from the Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) Surabaya to discuss potential partnerships and strengthen existing collaborations between the two institutions.

The meeting took place at UMSurabaya’s campus, where both parties explored opportunities for joint initiatives in education, trade, and cultural exchange. The discussion also highlighted the mutual benefits of working together in enhancing academic cooperation, research projects, student exchanges, and international trade relations.

The Taipei Economic and Trade Office, represented by Isaac Ciu as Director General of TETO, expressed their enthusiasm for expanding cooperation with UM Surabaya, especially in areas related to technology, entrepreneurship, and international internships for students. The representatives emphasized the importance of fostering relationships that contribute to the global outlook of both Indonesian and Taiwanese communities.

UMSurabaya, led by Dr. dr. Sukadiono M.M., also shared the institution’s strategic vision to enhance its global partnerships and offer more international exposure to its students and faculty members. By collaborating with institutions such as TETO, UM Surabaya aims to provide a platform for cross-cultural learning and global competence.
